I don't remember how they fixed it back then since I was never afflicted with it.
This problem arose a couple of years back too. CA also isn't responding on their forums. I tried emailing support, but they just send you automated responses about nothing and never give you any real help. I'm assuming Steam is just installing the game corrupt, cause there's no other explanation. Three re-installs from scratch, 10 verify cache attempts later it's still happening. Worked fine a little over a month ago, but I guess I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it a few days ago, and now this happens as soon as I get into a battle: I've owned the game on Steam for years, along with every DLC.
